Cancellation, Refund and Return Policy
Any Capitalized terms used but not defined herein shall have the meaning assigned to them under the Terms of Use which govern your use of our website www.designersharbour.com (the “Website”) and our ‘“Designers Harbour”’ application for mobile/web page \ and handheld devices (the “App”). The Website/web page and the App are jointly referred to as the “Platform”.
- Cancellation Policy
- a) As a general rule Buyer shall not be entitled to cancel Order once placed. Buyer may choose to cancel Order only before it is “Shipped”.Once the order is shipped the buyer cannot cancel the order in any way possible. However, subject to Buyer’s previous cancellation history, “Designers Harbour” reserves the right to deny any refund to Buyer pursuant to a cancellation initiated by Buyer, even if the same is within one-minute followed by suspension of account, as may be necessary in the sole discretion of “Designers Harbour”.
- Non-Customer Cancellation
a). “Designers Harbour” reserves the right to collect a penalty for the Orders constrained to be cancelled by “Designers Harbour” for reasons not attributable to “Designers Harbour”, including but not limited to:
- i) in the event if the address provided by Buyer is either wrong;
failure to contact Buyer by phone or email at the time of delivering the Order booking;
- ii) failure to deliver Buyer Order due to lack of information, direction or authorization from Buyer at the time of delivery; or
iii) unavailability of all the items ordered by Buyer at the time of booking the Order; or
- iv) unavailability of all the items ordered by Buyer at the time of booking the Order. However, in the unlikely event of an item in an Order being unavailable, the merchant will contact the Buyer on the phone number provided at the time of placing the Order and inform Buyer of such unavailability. In such an event Buyer would be entitled to cancel the entire Order or the item that is unavailable and in such circumstances buyer will be entitled for the refund on prorate basis accordingly.
v). In case of cancellations for the reasons attributable to “Designers Harbour” or the Merchant “Designers Harbour” shall not collect any penalty from the Buyer.
- Refund Policy:
- a) Buyer may be entitled to a refund for prepaid Orders. “Designers Harbour” retains the right to retain the penalty payable by the Buyer in Section I(b) from the amount refundable to him/her. The Buyer shall also be entitled to a refund of proportionate value in the event packaging of an item in an Order or the complete Order, is either tampered or damaged and the Buyer refuses to accept at the time of delivery for the said reason;
- b) Our decision on refunds shall be final and binding.
- c) In case of payment at the time of delivery, Buyer will not be required to pay for:
- i) Orders where packaging is either tampered or damaged at the time of delivery;
- ii) Wrong Order being delivered; or
iii) Items missing from Buyer’s Order at the time of delivery.
- Return Policy:
- a) We are committed to ensure the buyer’s satisfaction with any product ordered from “Designers Harbour”. If the buyer is not satisfied with any product, the buyer can return the product within 7 DAYS from the date of delivery directly to the merchant on the following terms;
- i) In the unlikely event of any product sent by the merchant not received in good condition, either damaged or defective, or if; product delivered is different from the order placed, buyer can return the product unused along with its original invoice, and in the same condition as received in original packaging along with original tags for refund/exchange.
- ii) In case a product comes with manufacturer warranty, customer will contact the manufacturer directly and follow the return/replacement procedure as per the manufacturer policy.
iii). Refund shall be initiated once the product reaches back the merchant and necessary checks are completed to clear the refund process.
iv). All the return pickups and the charges for the same will be handled exclusively between the merchant and the customer without any liability/answerability/involvement of “Designers Harbour” in this regard.
v). “Designers Harbour” is not responsible for the delivery/return pickups/charges related to this, and the entire responsibility pertaining to same will be on the merchant, including co-ordination with the buyer for the delivery or returns.
- vi) Order can only be returned to the merchants who have opted to accept returns. A buyer can view the return availability of merchant in their [profile before placing the order. An order cannot be returned in anyway possible if the merchant has not opted to accept returns.
